Craven House Capital has a management contract with Desmond Holdings Ltd to manage the portfolio of the company and generate new investment opportunities. Desmond Holdings is a private investment holding company with principal offices in Hong Kong and an investment portfolio that includes public and private companies in Latin America, Asia, Africa and Eastern Europe. The company primarily focuses on the natural resource industry, agriculture and manufacturing.
Desmond Holdings manages the day-to-day operations of Craven House Capital and reports to a non-executive Board of Directors which acts in a supervisory capacity.

Richard Burrows - Chairman
Richard Burrows has spent over 35 years leading successful businesses in a diverse range of sectors from consumer goods to banking and financial services and offers extensive international experience in both developed and emerging markets. He is currently Chairman of British American Tobacco Plc and Non-Executive Director at Rentokil Initial Plc and Carlsberg A/S.
Mr. Burrows is a qualified accountant. His executive career has been with Irish Distillers, where he was Chief Executive from 1978 to 2000 and at Pernod Ricard, where he was Co-Chief Executive from 2000 to 2005. He has been Chairman of British American Tobacco since 2009 and prior to that served as director, then Governor, of Bank of Ireland from 2000 to 2009.
Mark Pajak - Non-Executive Director
Mark Pajak's duties include chairing the investment committee and direct board level involvement with the portfolio companies. Prior to his role at Craven House Capital, Mr. Pajak was Managing Director at Desmond Holdings and a member of their investment committee. He is also President and CEO of Desmond Investments Ltd, a company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange in Toronto.
Mr. Pajak started his career at Taylor Wimpey Plc, the UK's largest property developer where he worked directly for the Chief Executive advising on M&A activity, corporate capital structuring and communications with shareholders and the financial community. He was among the youngest directors in the 130 year history of the company.
Mark holds both an undergraduate degree and MBA from Oxford University.
Balbir S. Bindra - Non-Executive Director
Mr. Bindra is a Partner of Ince & Co, a London-based commercial law firm, established in 1870 with over 300 lawyers and offices in Hong Kong, Beijing, Shanghai, Hamburg, Paris, Monaco, Singapore, Dubai and Piraeus. He specialises in cross-border asset, project and structured finance transactions relating to energy, natural resources, commodities, ships, aircraft and industrial equipment. He advises energy companies, financial institutions, institutional investors, sponsors, governments and contractors and also assists clients in the establishment, expansion and restructuring of their businesses in Hong Kong, China and the Asia. He has extensive experience in debt capital markets and investment fund transactions, advising both underwriters and issuers on a wide range of capital market products. In the structured finance area he has advised financial institutions, funds and issuers on repackagings, asset backed products, fund structuring and portfolio management and has represented multinationals, banks, securities houses, hedge funds, private equity groups, multilateral and sovereign lenders, including the World Bank and China Development Bank on transactions in China, South America, South East Asia and Africa.
Mr. Bindra has been named as a leading individual in both Asia Pacific Legal 500, Chambers Asia for Structured Finance and Euromoney's Guide to the World's Leading Structured Finance Lawyers. He is a member of the Law Society of England & Wales and of Hong Kong.
Calum Morrison - Non-Executive Director
Following a successful career as an Officer in the Royal Marines, Mr. Morrison has spent over 15 years managing businesses across a diverse range of emerging and frontier markets in sectors including telecoms, risk management and oil & gas. He has developed particularly valuable experience in north and central African jurisdictions, the Middle East and India
He is the founder and is a director of The Extraordinary Adventure Club.

Brian Winters - Company Secretary & General Counsel
Brian Winters qualified as a Solicitor in Ireland and the United Kingdom in 2002. Since qualifying, Brian has worked extensively in the area of Commercial and Property law having worked as General Counsel and has sat on the Boards of a number of property development companies in both Ireland and the United Kingdom. He has worked on a number of high profile projects in both jurisdictions. He has particular experience in structured finance and corporate debt restructuring.
